I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful sunny Fall day and the perfect evening to walk through a park in Langley. The smallest member of the family at almost one was absolutely adorable and made my job soooooo easy as a photographer, I hardly had to work for smiles.
Mom is the photographer of the family and as a result is hardly ever in front of the camera, so my focus of this session was to ensure I captured her and her little girl. I can relate to never actually being in pictures, so wanted to make sure I captured images she would love.
Thanks again for having me photograph your beautiful family!
Mom really wanted a picture of her nursing her baby girl. It is such a bond between mother and child and I think every mom should have a photograph of it.

I photographed two sweet boys and their mama a few weeks ago. One of the boys is a four legged furry kid and the other a fun loving four year old (of the human variety!). It was a great evening for an outdoor photo shoot and I loved capturing the love and connection between these two boys and their mama. I have known this mama for quite a few years and it was so great to meet her boys.

I photographed a sweet little girl for the third time a few weeks ago. She is now two years old and full of energy, curiosity, wonder and joy.
Two year old’s move fast and love to check out their environment with such a sense of interest and curiosity. I only photograph toddlers outdoors for this very reason. I love to chase them and capture them at this stage of their lives doing what they do best, running around and having fun! It is the perfect time of the year for outdoor pictures and the weather has cooperated with each and every photo shoot of mine, I feel so lucky! I cannot believe how much little A has grown in the past year and hearing her talk and watching her run reminds me how time truly does fly by!
I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful Autumn as much as I am!

I had a shoot a few weeks ago with the two sweetest girls ever! They were so cute and fun! It was a perfect Fall day, the leaves are just starting to change color and I found an awesome new location. These two girls are quite close in age and if you saw them, you would think they were twins. They are the same height and are the bestest friends. I loved capturing their personalities and also the love between them and
their mom. All three of them are completely natural in front of the camera and capturing the love was easy.
Enjoy these blue eyed beauties, I am sharing a bunch because I just can’t decide which images are my faves.

A few weeks ago my good friend and fellow pho tographer Ashleigh Wells of Ashleigh Wells Pho
tography and I took a trip down to Bellingham to meet up with another amazing photographer friend Kristin Hemenway of Images by Kristin. We took pictures of two extremely adorable kids at an old barn that provided the most amazing light a photographer could dream of (yes photographers do dream of amazing light!). It is such a blast to meet up and shoot with other photographers who share the same passion as you (and who also dream of amazing light!). Its fun to bounce ideas off each other and inspire each other in new ways. It sure helps to have the cutest little models EVER!! We also shot an engagement session, which will be shared at a later date!

I have been very spoiled this week! Two amazingly adorable little girls who sleep like champions! Today I got to meet another little princess who is absolutely perfect and beautiful! Her parents have been waiting for her for a long time and are completely smitten with her in every way. Little Miss L apparently has already developed a diva attitude and is a tad on the lazy side when it comes to working for her food, but she didn’t pull any of her diva ways today! She slept the ENTIRE session except for one lunch break. I didn’t even see her eyes open at all! She is going to break some hearts one day!
Congrats again M family! Thanks for having me take such important pictures of your little girl!

It was a beautiful day when I photographed these four gorgeous girls at Mundy Park in Coquitlam. The two older girls are sisters and cousins to the two younger girls. They were a blast and it was fun to watch them joke around with each other making each other laugh to avoid the dreaded fake smile! I am super close to my cousin’s and grew up with them as if they were sisters so watching these cousin’s brought back memories for me as I was a little girl! They were all very good to me and so cooperative!
The light in the park was perfect as was the setting! Tons of great nooks and crannies to shoot in!

I had another great maternity session yesterday! This wonderful family is expecting their 5th member in September. Is it a 3rd boy or a girl? We will find out very soon! These boys are going to make excellent big brothers and are just as anxious for the arrival of their new sibling as much as their parents are. Both boys are hoping for a little sister, but say a little brother will be okay too!
The backyard of this family was a photographers paradise! You never know what type of shooting conditions you are going to stumble across when going to a location for the first time, but I was very pleasantly surprised that their backyard was not an ordinary yard at all! It was absolutely beautiful!
I joked and said I wish I could bring client’s there all the time (watch out P family, you might find me hanging out in your yard one day, haha).
I love the lush greenery and rugged foresty style, so this location was right up my alley!
Look at this HOT mama, can you believe this is her third baby?! I can only dream I will look as great as her when I become a mama. She had the perfect bump with not a stretch mark in sight!
Maybe the pink flower behind her is a subtle hint?

I am 100% a procrastinator, so I truly know how it feels to be rushing around at the very last minute trying to things done.

I took shots of the cutest little dude yesterday! Mr. J is almost one and after warming up for a few minutes turned into a natural little baby model!
He has the most adorable one toothed little smile I have ever seen! We went to a near by forest and had a great family session.
